Brain & Spine Tumor
Brain and spine tumors are abnormal growths of cells that develop within the brain or spinal cord. Tumors can be either benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). They can originate within the brain or spine (primary tumors) or spread from other parts of the body (secondary or metastatic tumors).
Symptoms:

- Brain Tumors: Cognitive changes, difficulty with balance, weakness, and personality changes.
- Spinal Tumors: Back pain, numbness, weakness, and changes in bowel or bladder function.
Treatment:
- Surgery: To remove as much of the tumor as possible without damaging critical structures.
- Radiation Therapy: Using high-energy rays to target and kill cancer cells.
- Chemotherapy: Medications to kill or control the growth of cancer cells.
- Targeted Therapies: Drugs targeting specific molecules involved in cancer growth.
- Immunotherapy: Boosting the body's immune system to fight cancer.
